Works alongside TeamUp

Nutripy vs TeamUp: switch, or add the AI assistant?

TeamUp runs your schedule, memberships and billing, and owners rate it 4.8 on Capterra. Its outreach, though, is one-way: a trigger email, an SMS notification, a monthly report. When a lead hesitates or a member goes quiet, nobody follows up. Nutripy is the AI assistant that does: WhatsApp, follow-up sequences, and analytics that answer questions.

The add-on layer is how studios start; we confirm fit with your system on the intro call.

TeamUp notifies. Nutripy is the AI assistant that answers and follows up.

TeamUp is a class-booking and billing platform owners genuinely like: scheduling, memberships, payments, a member app. Its outreach is one-way: trigger emails, SMS notifications, and a monthly AI report. Nutripy is the AI assistant that picks up from there: it answers on WhatsApp and your website, runs follow-up sequences, and takes analytics questions on demand. Keep TeamUp for the running. Add Nutripy for the follow-up.

What Nutripy adds on top of TeamUp

Three examples. Nutripy is designed to work alongside the TeamUp you keep and handles the follow-up it doesn't. Nothing migrates, nothing gets rebuilt.

Win-backs

TeamUp flags Sofia as slipping away. The email goes out. Three weeks later she's on the list again.

A Slipping Away list that gets acted on

TeamUp's Slipping Away list already knows who went quiet. Nutripy picks up where the trigger email stops: it opens a WhatsApp conversation, hears the reason, offers the class that fits, and books it. Each journey runs at the level you set: suggest, approve, or automatic.

TeamUp alone: the flag triggers an email to the member and an alert to you. What happens next is manual.

With Nutripy: the flag turns into a check-in that ends in a booking, a reason, or a handover to your team.

Website + WhatsApp

A visitor asks about your intro offer at 21:30. Your contact form promises a reply within one business day.

TeamUp notifies one way. Nutripy answers and books.

A question on your site gets answered from your content and your live schedule while the visitor is still reading. If they'd rather chat where they already are, the thread moves to WhatsApp, the channel TeamUp doesn't cover, and the booking lands by itself.

TeamUp alone: email, SMS notifications and in-app messages. No WhatsApp channel, as of July 2026.

With Nutripy: two-way WhatsApp and a website assistant that answers and books around the clock.

Analytics on demand

The report says attendance dipped in March. It's mid-April, and it can't tell you which members or why.

Beyond the AI Business Advisor's monthly report

TeamUp's AI Business Advisor summarizes engagement, revenue and benchmarks once a month. A copilot works differently. You ask about this week's no-shows or last quarter's intro packs and get the number, the chart, and a suggested next step, the moment the question comes up.

TeamUp alone: a monthly AI report with benchmarks, plus standard dashboards.

With Nutripy: ask any question your data can answer, on the day you need it.

Where TeamUp genuinely earns its rating

  • Rated 4.8 on Capterra across 346 reviews, with ease of use praised on both sides of the counter
  • European roots: UK-founded, billing in GBP and EUR, 3,000+ customers and 50 million class bookings by 2022

That's a system worth keeping. Nutripy doesn't ask you to leave it; it plugs in beside it and handles the follow-up.

Outgrowing TeamUp entirely, or set on running one system instead of several? Then .

If Nutripy disappeared tomorrow, we'd need hours and hours every week just to stay on top of who needs attention. And we'd still miss things.

TeamUp and Nutripy: what owners ask

Do I have to leave TeamUp to use Nutripy?

No, and most studios shouldn't. TeamUp keeps running your schedule, memberships, billing and member app. Nutripy connects alongside it, picks up the signals, and does the outreach: lead follow-up, member check-ins, win-backs, and a copilot for your numbers.

Does TeamUp have WhatsApp integration?

No. As of July 2026, TeamUp's channels are email (native, plus integrations like Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign), SMS notifications, and in-app messages. No WhatsApp channel appears in its product documentation or marketing. For a platform with a large UK and European customer base, that leaves the channel most members answer uncovered. Nutripy adds two-way WhatsApp on top of TeamUp: follow-ups, reminders, and an assistant that replies.

Does TeamUp have AI?

Yes. The AI Business Advisor, launched March 2026, generates a monthly report on engagement, revenue and operational health, benchmarked against thousands of studios, and it's included in every subscription. TeamUp's site also mentions an AI assistant for customer support. As of July 2026, what TeamUp doesn't have is conversational AI for members: no AI follow-up, no website chatbot, no copilot you can question. That interactive side is what Nutripy adds.

Does TeamUp have automated lead follow-up?

Partly. TeamUp's notifications cover the lifecycle of existing customers: pre- and post-class emails, milestones, birthdays, and Slipping Away alerts. Lead nurture runs through email integrations you set up yourself, such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact or ActiveCampaign, and those still send one-way email. Nutripy contacts a new lead within minutes, keeps the sequence going until there's an answer, and answers back on your website or WhatsApp.

Is Nutripy a TeamUp alternative?

For some studios, not all. TeamUp's scheduling and billing are what owners praise, and moving systems is real work; if that side runs fine, keep it. Nutripy is the alternative for the missing two-way layer: WhatsApp, lead follow-up that answers back, and analytics on demand, added on top of the TeamUp you already run. If you do want one system for everything, you can ask us where the full version of Nutripy stands.

Schedule a call to find out

What does the setup look like?

One intro call, then we connect Nutripy to your studio's data and switch on the journeys other studios already run: lead follow-up, check-ins, win-backs. Tuning the tone and playbooks to your studio takes 2 to 4 weeks, and most of that work is ours, not yours.

Add Nutripy on top

Keep the system you have. Nutripy plugs into it and takes over the follow-ups, answers, and insights.
